You're digging for gold
Yet throwing away
A fortune in feelings
But someday you'll pay

ooh, would you look at that... a little DD for little ole me. I suppose that is the kick in the bum I need to get on with the rest of my pin-up series!

Kicking off Pin Up week here on deviantART is Ice by *Azrelle. While not your standard retro pin up, the shot carries that old school glam, (and I'm not talking Poison), that I love so much. ( Featured by `Ghouldaddy )

The subject is nice, but the lighting is a little too simple. It doesn't do much to enhance the photo.

Yup. That's why I don't think it's my best photo, but the laws of DD saw that they will pick the picture you don't want people to look at.

The set was manipulation stock originally. It just so happened that a few of the shots worked out as independent images.

Is Mirrormask really your favourite film? I don't meet many other fans of Mirrormask.

Congrats on the DD

Yup, it's a brilliant film. Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean make such a brilliant combination with stories and visual treats. It also happens that I know Tat who was the gorilla and Peachi who you can see juggling a couple of times in the circus scenes. I am also one of a really small subsection of fans who laughed particularly harder at the line "butterfingers".... (it's the name of a juggling store in the uk and it just felt so much like a deliberate advert)

Possibly not entirely unrelated knowing Neil Gaiman, but I just finished Lord Valentine's Castle which also has a juggling Valentine in it.
