Eclipse by Ruthlessphoto Eclipse by Ruthlessphoto
Today's photo of the day presented itself being a total lunar eclipse and a nice clear night. Just a shame I don't have a good telephoto lens yet to get the fine detail.

Great photo! :)
I also tried to take some photos but the crappy Canon 18-55mm lens was just a waste of time! :P

i was having one of my terribly exciting nights in and thought I may as well sit in the garden with a cuppa and some tunes than at the computer :)

was really clear here up until the totality and then it went cloudy

It was clear here up till about 2 hours before and then that was it, clouds, rain and probably snow soon. Major let down for me. I'm so glad you got something I can look at. I like how you layed it out too, very cool.

Very nice. I was hoping to get the full sequence too but not enough came out well enough to complete the set. Got one of totality though, so I'm happy.

The clouds came at the totality for me so I had to abandon plans to get the full set. Maybe next time.
